02 2004
Dear Mr.
President,
My name is Bahram Maskanian. I am a fifty year old Persian American man.
I live in New York City and have been a political activist all my life.
I have been following the 2004 race for presidency very closely. I am
particularly interested in the future foreign policies of the US government
toward previously installed dictators, principally the mullahs in Iran
that came into power after the removal of the King of Iran Mohammad Reza
Pahlavi.
I am concerned
about the meddling and mistreatment of Persian people and their newly
found democracy that occurred in early 1950s by the cooperative
efforts of the Eisenhower administration, the CIA and Churchill to protect
the oil interests of British and American companies.
They achieved
their criminal goal with the help of the religious leaders, yes, the very
same Khomeini and many other familiar faces at the helm in Iran today.
They managed to overthrow the first truly democratically elected government
of Dr. Mossadegh in Iran, formed after thousands of years of civilization
in Persia, and installed Mohammad Reza Pahlavi again.
There are
over 4 million Persian Americans in the United States, including millions
of other nationalities that have suffered the same fate that would love
to hear the next presidential candidate talk about these abuses and take
immediate action to correct them. Unlike the popular misconception, war
is not what will fix all the wrongs done by United States and the European
governments foreign policies with corrupt corporate partnerships.
The hidden
facts about the current regime in Iran are that not only the United States,
but also European governments openly give the green light and support
the mullahs highly fanatic and brutal regime via multinational corporations.
Exploitation will eventually lead to explosion and uprising.
Persians
all over the world and those trapped under the mullahs' government in
Iran would love to hear a just presidential candidate talk about putting
a stop to such support and help to truly encourage an organic, democratic
movement in Iran.
The obvious
reality is as follows: either the United States and the European governments
come to their senses, and stop supporting and trading with the mullahs
regime and begin supporting the advocates of freedom and democracy, or
face an unlimited death and destruction from the terrorist corporations
founded by the Arabs and mullahs in Iran.
The criminal
activities of the current Islamic Gangster Regime of Iran clearly demonstrates
the degree of ruthlessness and brutality they are capable. It is a known
fact that Persians are not shooting at Persians at the command of mullahs.
In fact, imported and employed Arab, Afghan, Pakistani, Syrian and Lebanese
Muslim terrorist / mercenaries are mercilessly killing Persians in their
peaceful demonstrations for equality and democracy.
Mr. President,
as a compassionate conservative, please take the lead and set a moral
example by helping those who are victimized by these brutal dictators.
Therefore allowing them to enjoy a democratic government system and freedom,
which we enjoy here in the United States.
Sincerely
yours,
Bahram Maskanian
